Secure Systems Limited specialises in the development of secure portable storage technology for high assurance applications. The company has developed and patented the award winning Silicon Data Vault (SDV) secure data storage and execution technology.  This technology has been commercialised into a range of laptop secure hard disk drives (HDD) and secure portable storage and execution devices.

Secure Systems Limited was established in Perth to develop and commercialise a PC secure storage technology acquired by the company founders in 2000. The company has gradually evolved the technology into a range of secure portable high assurance products (branded as the SDV); these products are particularly valuable for Government and Defence users.

Secure Systems produces the only high grade laptop secure HDD certified to protect data classified Secret, whilst allowing the laptop to be handled at a lower classification when powered down.

More recently Secure Systems developed the Mini SDV, a device that addresses a gap in the market, providing organisations with a cost-effective and convenient method of implementing a remote and mobile computing environment for teleworkers and mobile employees. The Mini SDV is aimed at organisations performing sensitive and high-value transactions over the Internet. Packaged as a USB attachable device, the integral trusted browser or remote desktop client is loaded into a (untrusted and potentially compromised) host PC’s memory from a secure partition on the Mini-SDV. These applications are executed to enable secure access to web-enabled applications and perform remote data processing, securely.

Secure Systems has three patents approved or pending in major IT markets including USA, Europe, Japan, South Korea, China and India.

Secure Systems customers include virtually every Australian Government agency that processes highly classified data, in particular Defence, Intelligence, and Law Enforcement agencies. Notable large customers include Defence Chief Information Officer Group, Special Operations Command, and Dept. of Attorney General.

Secure Systems is an approved Dell reseller/partner. A strategic relationship has been established with Tactronics for the incorporation of SDV products into its C4ISR solutions to be sold worldwide. DataCrypto is Secure Systems’ reseller for the Israeli and European markets.
